Our Work: Adjudication Adjudication has changed the way in which the construction industry deals with its disputes. The growing number of contested decisions and the resulting judgments handed down by the courts require a thorough understanding of the ground rules. In reality, however, many firms have limited experience of adjudication and do not have the in-house knowledge to enable them to mount - or defend - an adjudication effectively. This is a dangerous position to be in - particularly if you are on the receiving end of a referral notice and have only a matter of days in which to assemble your defence. We have been involved in a great many adjudications and have become highly experienced in the procedures, the tactics, and the law of adjudication. Matthew Bastone is a practicing adjudicator on the panels of the RICS, the RIBA, the CIArb, CEDR and the AICA and has been nominated on more than 180 occasions to date.
